Continuing and expanding upon the tradition of being a community that reads, the East Meadow School District hosted an outdoor pop-up library at the Leon J. Campo Salisbury Center on July 8. Donated books and suggested summer reading titles for grades K-8 were available. Director of Literacy, Frank Lukasik, organized and ran the event, which offered hundreds of books to students.
