East Rockaway High School-s Homecoming keeps getting better and better. This year the returning alumni were greeted with an alumni tent that served food courtesy of the Outback Steak House, the goal posts were decorated with footballs and the traditional orange and black school colors filled the field. School spirit was evident in every activity, which included a jumping cage for the children and cotton candy for kids of all ages. There were performances by the varsity cheerleaders, the high school band, the parade of school banners, the retiring of a football jersey, and the announcement of king and queen. This year, seniors Keith Gleason and Sarah Gallagher were crowned. The football game saw the Rocks crumble the Seaford Vikings, (see the full story on page 33), and Homecoming 2004 truly scored big with everyone.
