On Wednesday, Sept. 20, Joseph M. Spero, principal at East Rockaway High School, pictured at far left, recognized more than 40 students at the inaugural Super Mastery ceremony.
Each of the students achieved a score of 95 or above on one or more New York State Regents exam in the 2011-2012 school year.
“On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, we are extremely proud of this impressive accomplishment,” said Spero. “I am looking forward to beginning the process of having students help to identify ways that will support and encourage increased outstanding student achievement through the creation of a Principal’s Advisory Council.”
