On a perfectly bright and sunny autumn holiday weekend, the Village of East Rockaway’s Recreation Department, along with the East Rockaway Chamber of Commerce and its sponsors, held the Fourth Annual Oktoberfest Festival.
The three-day event, from Oct. 8 through the 10th, which featured fun rides, games, great live music, and fabulous food, began with a 5K Run/Walk that will benefit the Ed Sieban Memorial Scholarship fund. Entertainment included the bands “Witches Brew,” “Almost Famous,” “ Tramps Like Us,” “The Switch,” and headliners, “BIG SHOt,” a Billy Joel Tribute Band.
