Easter Bunny leaves eggs at beach, park and rec center

East Rockaway, Lynbrook children scour sand and grass for colorful treasures

The last couple of weeks were busy ones for the Easter Bunny, who took time out from his busy schedule to visit Hewlett Point Beach in Bay Park, East Rockaway and Lynbrook.

On March 20, the Cape Cod Homeowners Association of Hewlett Point hosted an Easter egg hunt on the beach, along with an arts & crafts session.

On March 26, the East Rockaway Recreation Department hosted its annual Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunt at the Recreation Center at John Street.

Meanwhile, across town at Greis Park in Lynbrook, children were treated to a

magic show, followed by an Easter egg hunt on the great lawn.
