Elmont puts Spartan pride on display

Spartan spirit was high as the Elmont Memorial High School community came out for the school’s annual Homecoming parade, game and festivities on Oct. 12.

The afternoon began with a mile-long parade, after which, students, staff and community members headed to the football game to support the Spartans in their game against Herricks High School. During halftime, the cheerleaders performed and Fenol LaRock and Nyla Allen were named Homecoming king and queen.
