kansas

Since their self-titled debut album in 1974, Kansas has been a huge success. Their million-selling gold single, "Dust in the Wind," continues to make them a legendary rock band. Hits such as "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Point of Know Return" have been playing regularly, on radio stations, for years and years. And Kansas is still going strong with their latest album "Always Never The Same," which features the London Symphony Orchestra. Come see them July 5, at 8 p.m.

2002 stony brook film festival

From July 17 through the 27, Staller Center For The Arts proudly presents the 2002 Stony Brook Film Festival. They will be screening dozens of powerful and entertaining Independent features and short films. Over 40 films from the U.S. and abroad will premiere during the eleven-day festival.

The Nassau county fair June 13 - 23, at Nassau Coliseum. There will be something for everyone at this year's 11-day festival...free family entertainment, exhilarating rides, games of skill and chance, mouth-watering food, a petting zoo and barnyard animals.
