Funds from the Rockville Centre Education Foundation enabled first graders at Covert Elementary School to participate in “Apple Cider Press.”

On Nov. 18, the first grade students at Covert Elementary School participated in two workshops with the Nassau BOCES Outdoor and Environmental Education program. The programs were called “Primary Properties of Matter” and “Apple Cider Press.” These programs were funded by the Rockville Centre Education Foundation.
