Hundreds of people lined up that morning in front of Howard T. Herber Middle School on Ocean Avenue to help raise funds for education. The event featured participants such as Malverne Mayor Patricia Ann McDonald as well as Olympic Gold Medalist Derrick Adkins. All of the proceeds from the fundraiser were donated to the Malverne Educational and Fitness Foundation.
