Fall festivities return to St. Mark’s in Rockville Centre

The annual Pumpkin Patch at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 200 Hempstead Ave., will open this weekend and run through Oct. 31. Hours are from Sunday-Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Pumpkins, gourds, hay, corn stalks, mums, apples and other autumn delicacies are available; shoppers who spend $25 or more will receive a free pumpkin patch tote bag.

Special events at the patch include:

On Saturdays, Oct. 6, 13, 20 — refreshments by “Lumpy’s Food Truck” and story telling from 2-4 p.m.

On Oct. 13 — Country Fair Day with guided pony rides ($5) from noon-2 p.m., Granny’s Attic, plus popcorn, cotton candy, homemade pies and more

Oct. 20 — A costume parade at 11 a.m. with a visit from Spiderman. Games and pumpkin painting at noon, photo opportunities

Oct. 27 — A pipe organ crawl at 1:30 p.m. including a free guided tour to explore the organ from the console to the pipe chambers.
