Celebrating Dad
Fathers Day Bird Count
When Theodore Roosevelt lived at Sagamore Hill he counted birds, so why not honor that legacy and celebrate dad at the same time. Join TRS and Sagamore Hill National Historic Site staff and their children on the annual Fathers Day bird count. Come with a keen eye and a yearning to learn about the birds that call Sagamore Hill home. Compare the birds you see with those TR and his family tallied nearly 100 years ago. A Bully birding time, indeed!
Sunday, June 21, 7-9 a.m. Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, 20 Sagamore Hill Rd., Oyster Bay.
