Bright skies brought hundreds of fair-goers to Merrick Avenue in downtown Merrick. There were carnival rides galore for children, and small businesses set up booths up and down the avenue. Indeed, a good time was had by all, with families turning out by the dozen to catch all the fun. --Scott Brinton
