Open mic night at Sip This
Poets Marsha M Nelson and Lynn Cohen will be sharing their poetry about love at Sip This, at 64 Rockaway Avenue, on Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m. There will also be an open mic for poets to share poems of love, presidents, weather or anything else.
Super Bowl party at Presbyterian Church
The Valley Stream Presbyterian Church will hold a Super Bowl party, on Feb. 4 at 4 p.m. that will be open to the public Before the game, guests can compete in an unofficial Madden ’18 tournament. Those looking to participate must register in advance. Refreshments will be served.

Celebrating the Year of the Dog
