Shannon, the 3 year-old daughter of ex-Captain Tom Gleason of the Merrick Fire Department, has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and is continuing to be treated at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital in New York City. Fortunately, she was able to attend the fund-raiser to enjoy the games, musical entertainment and support of the many residents who stopped by to offer their encouragement.
