Thousands of spectators lined the boardwalk and beaches last Saturday for Long Beach’s annual “Fireworks Extravaganza.” The sky was lit up with an array of colorful fireworks just before 9:30 p.m. The event, held at Long Beach Boulevard beach, was sponsored by Verizon Fios and featured the music of T'Bazco Road. Following a busy beach day, many could be seen watching the event from balconies and homes that evening, while the Allegria Hotel held a party for its guests at its recently opened Jacks on the Rocks rooftop pool lounge.
