On March 11, nearly 50 5th-8th grade Rockville Centre Cadette and Junior Girl Scouts gathered at the Rec Center to learn how to Zumba. This activity was organized in an effort to encourage fitness and movement in a time when childhood obesity is on the rise. Organizers thanked Parks and Recreation Superintendent Anthony Brunetta for donating the venue for the fun-filled event.
