A two vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Lawson Boulevard and Weinder Avenue in Oceanside on Saturday, June 5, at 2:00 p.m. Four people were injured, although sources said none were seriously hurt. Nassau County police and the Oceanside Fire Department responded to the scene to assist. Both north and southbound lanes of Lawson had to be shut down for an hour until the vehicles were able to be removed.
