A school year’s worth of physical education curriculum culminated in a field day at the Robert W. Carbonaro School on May 19.
The Physical Education Department organized the day’s events, which were structured to highlight individual athletic ability, teamwork, problem-solving skills and sportsmanship. Students enjoyed ice cream and watched faculty members compete against sixth-grade students.
The field day was the school’s first, and administrators said it would be brought back annually.
