Glenn Simensky dies at 50

Glenn Simensky, a noted attorney and lifelong Five Towns resident, died on Dec. 17 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. He was 50.

Glenn lived in Woodmere and was a landlord-tenant attorney in Manhattan. He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1977, Hofstra University in 1980 and Emory University Law School in 1983. He was a member of the New York and Georgia Bar Association.

In addition to his law practice, Glenn was also an avid watch collector and jazz aficionado, with a special interest in Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Tony Bennett. He also loved going to new restaurants and cruising on the ocean with his family, who he always looked forward to spending time with.

Funeral services were held at Boulevard Riverside Chapels in Hewlett with burial at Old Mount Carmel Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda; children, Jason and Michele; parents, Melvin and Judith; brother, Scott; and sister, Jill.
