The National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education recently named 10 Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District students as recipients of its Good Deed Merit Award for Long Island Teenagers. The students received the honor based on their commitment to community service and leadership.
Honorees are: Meredith Coppola, of Calhoun High School; Adam Breitman, Jaclyn Garet, Miles Davison, Anthony Serrano, Allison Moskie and Jacquelyn Tomo, of Mepham High; and Scott Peters, Melissa Edwards and Evan Rothstein, of Kennedy High.
