Harboring Hearts Hosts Oktoberfest Benefit in Franklin Square

Harboring Hearts welcomed over 100 supporters to the Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square on Saturday, October 19th for their annual Oktoberfest dinner. Harboring Hearts founders Michelle Javian and Yuki Kotani welcomed special guest Jacqueline Gambini and her family to the event after providing them with aid earlier this year and last year during Hurricane Sandy. The benefit evening featured traditional German dancers, music and a beer drinking competition all to raising funds for Harboring Hearts, which provides heart patients and their families with housing and support.
