A total of $45,000 was raised at the annual Rock and Wrap It Up! Golf outing to benefit the Cedarhurst-based poverty think tank’s “Get in the Game: Fight Hunger” theme for this year’s event that took place at the Seawane Country Club in Hewlett Harbor on July 20.
The event included 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch and dinner, a live and silent auction, a cash raffle, closest to the pin awards, and a putting contest, along with a fashion show, tennis and mah jong.
