The harmonious sounds of holiday songs filled the Francis X. Hegarty School gymnasium in Island Park as the school’s Third and Fourth Grade Chorus, under the direction of music teacher Marie Sambolin, performed for a large audience of friends and family at the annual Winter Concert. The performances by the Select Ensemble and full chorus included “Silent Night”, “Deedle Deedle Dai”, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”, “One World”, and “Blizzard on the Way”. More than 90 percent of the Hegarty third and fourth graders participate in the chorus.
