The Dan Mantrone Award for outstanding football lineman was won by Chris Gagstetter. The Harold Earl Award for dedication to wrestling went to Kyle Antonelli. The Thomas Gorman Award for Outstanding Pitcher of the Year was presented to Mike Perrone. The Betty Wagner Award for most dedicated athlete was won by Annie Riccio and Jeff Herrera. The U.S. Army Scholar/Athlete Award went to Alyssa Fanno and Martin Garcia.
The Mayor's Trophy for outstanding achievement in sports, academics, character, leadership and civic service was awarded to Lisa Longo and Chris Gagstetter.
The Waldinger Award to a boy and girl who are outstanding in two or more sports, with a high scholastic average was presented to Katie Goodwin and Joe Hill.
The Varsity Club Award, which honors a student, coach or staff member who contributes greatly to the overall success of Central's athletic program, was awarded to Amanda Presland and Carrie Gurowitz. The trophy remains in the Central showcase with a name added each year.
In Team Honors: Championships were won this year by: the district rifle team coached by Blake McCauley, which won its conference championship in air rifle, where it was undefeated; and the girls spring track team, coached by Leonard Fiorentino, which ended the season as division champs.
Five Central teams earned NYS Scholar/Athlete honors this year - girls soccer, girls badminton, girls softball, girls spring track and the district rifle team.

In Team Honors: A conference championship was won in the winter by the girls bowling team coached by Amy Agnesini. In spring sports, the girls track team coached by Nicole Futoran was thrilled to win South's first Nassau County Class A championship.

The Michael Witteck Award for competitiveness was won by Jonathan Solis. David Antoine won the Scibelli Award, and Robert Young received the John Miele Scholarship Award.
