Hoisting the Giglio

Posted
The second annual Giglio Feast of San Paolino was recently held in Franklin Square. The feast, celebrated at St. Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church, is a tradition across the globe, marking San Paolino’s return to Nola, Italy, around A.D. 411. The townspeople threw lilies at San Paolino’s feet upon his return. Gigli means lily in Italian.
