The night sky in summer can be a glorious thing. Nassau Fair
The long-standing tradition known as the Nassau Coliseum Fair ends this weekend with fun and games for all ages. Nassau Coliseums south parking lots are filled with entertainment, rides, food, and games. Enjoy over 40 rides and varied entertainment. This year, the fair welcomes the Hollywood Circus under the Big Top. High flying aerial performs will amaze, along with high wire, clown and animal acts, those Fearless Sanchez Brothers and the daring Motorcycle Globe of Death Riders. Also, see the Animal Park Adventure Menagerie, featuring exotic animals from around the globe, along with the crowd-pleasing Hollywood Pig Racers, and more.

Stars & Stripes Festival
The Village of East Rockaway wants everyone to get into the spirit of Independence Day at its 3rd Annual Stars & Stripes festival. Everyone will have a good time with entertainment, games and prizes. Local restaurants and eateries will provide food and refreshments. The celebration, of course, culminates in a fireworks display to end the evening with a bang.
