Holiday lights winners announced

Three Baldwin businesses and three homes have won the Holiday Lights contests sponsored by the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the Baldwin Civic Association.

The winners of the Chamber’s portion of the contest are the Ramada Inn, the Town of Hempstead Employees Credit Union and the Coral House catering hall. Representatives of the businesses received certificates at last week’s Chamber of Commerce meeting.

On the residential side, the civic association awarded gift certificates to three families whose homes were decorated for the season. The winners are the Bittner family, for most extravagant; the Gerbe family, for traditional, and the Kaminski family in the category of traditional religious.
