The Island Park Little League celebrated its opening day on April 18. The kick-off was started with a parade. The Island Park Little League would also like to apologize to the Island Park Civic Association. The program for opening day accidentally left out the Civic Association as a team sponsor due to a clerical error. “We salute the Civic for their devotion to the IPLL and the children of Island Park, and offer our profound regrets that we failed to recognize their contribution in the customary manner,” said a statement from Island Park Little League.
