The Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce will once again be hosting its annual Summer Car Show every Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m. now until Labor Day — with the exception of July 4.
The event will be held in the expansive Parking Lot No. 20 behind Atlantic Avenue and between Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road.
Residents can spend their summer evenings strolling among the vintage, classic and souped-up cars and trucks while listening to live entertainment on some nights, or DJ selections on others.
“We hope everyone comes down to see the 100-plus cars,” said Harry Levitt, the show’s coordinator. “We’re going on 15 years, and it’s still the best car night on Long Island
