Peninsula Kiwanis and Hewlett High School Key Club members held a food drive outside of the King Kullen supermarket in Hewlett on April 1 and 2. The biannual event helps to supply food items to the food banks of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Hewlett, St. Joachim’s R.C. Church in Cedarhurst and Our Lady of Good Counsel church in Inwood. The items collected will help to feed 250 families.
