Knights of Columbus to host blood drive in Franklin Square

The Knights of Columbus Twelve Apostles Council No. 5001 will be holding a blood drive at the Saint Catherine of Sienna School gymnasium on Aug. 23 from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Arrangements have been made with St. Catherine of Sienna and Long Island Blood Services for qualified donors to schedule an appointment on www.NYBC.org or by calling 1 (800) 933 – BLOOD.

Donors will be required to wear a face covering and have their temperatures taken. They must be symptom free of Covid-19 for at least 14 days, and may not donate blood if they tested positive for the virus or have experienced any symptoms over the past two weeks. Additionally, donors may not give blood if they are currently under self-quarantine restrictions.

Everyone else may enter the building through the gym door off of Lutz Street.
