Hurricane experts and emergency managers will discuss the history of Long Island hurricane activity, the effects of major coastal storms, Nassau County's hurricane preparedness and safety tips.
They will also provide answers to questions such as: how should I prepare for a major coastal storm? What have recent hurricanes taught us about future storms and coastal development?
The discussion will be held in the multipurpose room inside building CCB.
