Let All The Children Play Foundation and the Nassau County Department of Public Works met at the accessible playground in Eishenhower Park on Saturday, October 26. All children were invited to leave their hand-prints on the mural painted on the walls of the new accessible restrooms, with supplies provided by the Nassau County Parks Department. Employees of Astoria Federal Savings Bank raked up bags of autumn leaves. The Let All The Children Play Accessible Playground and Park encourages inclusion through sport and play. Children of all abilities can play together while naturally developing kindness and sensitivity towards one another. For more information, please visit latcp.org.
