Beautiful Bonsai
The Oceanside Garden Club welcomes Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Linda Fleigner, who will introduce this ancient horticultural art form at 7 p.m. on Jan. 13.                                                
Internet and E-Mail                                             
This class covers e-mail applications including group mailings and attachments, addresses security concerns, including Internet surfing, shopping, and the basic functions of Internet Explorer on Jan. 6, 13, 20 from 10-11:30 a.m. The fee is $30. Students must have prior working knowledge of computers to enroll. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and must be paid in full at the time of registration. All checks must be made payable to the Oceanside Library.  
Music in Exile
Émigré Composers of the 1930s The Motyl’s Chamber Ensemble returns to perform a repertoire of dynamic works written by German composers from the 1930s on Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. Tickets are required.

Family Dynamics Panel

Bereavement Support Groupfor Widows and Widowers,

Small intimate support groups designed specifically for those who have recently lost a spouse in the last year.The group will start meeting on Jan. 6 and will continue for eight weeks. The Friedberg JCC is hosting tryouts for its 2009 JCC Maccabi Tennis (coed), Boys Basketball, and Swim (coed) teams. Teams will compete in Westchester from August 16-21.
