Internet and E-Mail This class covers e-mail applications including group mailings and attachments, addresses security concerns, including Internet surfing, shopping, and the basic functions of Internet Explorer on January 6, 13, 20 from 10-11:30 a.m. The fee is $30. Students must have prior working knowledge of computers to enroll. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and must be paid in full at the time of registration. Christmas Tree Sale
The Daniel J. Bradley Council Knights of Columbus #3102 is having a Christmas tree sale from Dec. 12 through Dec. 21, Monday through Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. The sale is at St. Christopher's Church in Baldwin, 11 Gale Ave, a mile west of Grand Avenue on Merrick Road. All proceeds go to the Knights of Columbus.
Community Outreach Pre-Hanukkah Havdala
There will be a special pre-Hanukkah Havdala ceremony for non-members on Dec. 21 at the shul of the Young Israel of Oceanside, 150 Waukena Ave., from 5-7 p.m.

Bereavement Support Group for Widows and Widowers, ages 50 to 60
Small intimate support groups designed specifically for those who have recently lost a spouse in the last year.The group will start meeting on Jan. 6 and will continue for eight weeks. Tryouts for 2009 JCC Maccabi Games
The Friedberg JCC is hosting tryouts for its 2009 JCC Maccabi Tennis (coed), Boys Basketball, and Swim (coed) teams. Teams will compete in Westchester from August 16-21.
