The community is invited to what's being billed as a star studded evening with illustrious South Side High School alumni on Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the school's auditorium. The event will kick off the charitable Fine Tuning Project foundation that will support music and the performing arts at the school.
Broadway actors Max von Essen and Tony Wolf, mezzo soprano Jennifer Barsamian, a taped video clip of comedian Dave Attell with Daily Show writer Rory Albanese and teachers Karen Faust Baer, Doreen Fryling and Debbie Schall are among the theater and music alumni and faculty scheduled to appear.
Organizers expect other notable alumni to surprise the audience. Tickets are $10. For more information, call Dory at (516) 255-8925.
