It was the summer that was — especially for nostalgia buffs, classic car lovers, and fans of good music and delicious food.
The annual Lynbrook Classic Car show, which runs every Thursday night during the summer in the Forest Avenue parking Field behind Atlantic Avenue, is coming to a close. Residents who came to see the cars also stopped to get a bite to eat, or browse the shops on the avenue.
The show is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce.
“It was great,” said show coordinator Harry Levitt. “We hope to see even more cars next year. It was a fantastic summer.”
