The Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce hosted its monthly networking meeting on June 27 at Lynbrook’s own jazz club, Micky Mo’s Cafe and Lounge on Sunrise Highway.
The venue proved to be a comfortable place to mingle and network, and included drinks and scrumptious appetizers made and served by owner Mona Rhodie and her staff.
Lori Berger, director of digital sales at Richner Communications, was the evening’s guest speaker. Her PowerPoint presentation, “Non-traditional marketing for your company, ” including tips on social media marketing (Facebook,Twitter and Google Plus), email marketing, content (interruptive) advertising and sponsored content .
“There are so many ways small to medium sized businesses can use digital vehicles to market themselves effectively and efficiently,” said Berger. Her talk was followed by a question and answer period.
