Lynbrook Fire Department trains at home set to be torn down

Under the command of Chief Michael Brooks, Lynbrook firefighters got a chance to conduct a training session at a home that was set to betorn down on Feb. 6.

The home is at 36 Carpenter Ave., opposite the Lynbrook Library. The department’s Training Committee put together a training session of forcible entry, search and rescue, hose stretching, laddering and other firematic activities.  Lynbrook Mayor Alan Beach and the village trustees were on hand to witness the session.
