Supporting Alzheimer’s research with walk, fall-themed fest

On Sunday, Oct. 14, the Bristal at Lynbrook hosted an Alzheimer’s Mini Walk for residents who were unable to attend the annual walk held in Bethpage in September.

Vendors, apple cider, candy apples, apple pies and crisps made it a season good deed for residents and staff of the Bristal. The vendors will be donating 10 percent of their proceeds to the Alzheimer’s Association. For more information, call (516) 593-2424.
