In its first season, Titans Soccer Academy of Lynbrook has provided training to five travel teams and four inter-town teams for the Lynbrook East Rockaway Soccer Club program.
With over 15 years of training and coaching experience, TSA is headed by NSCAA certified Coach Carlos Perez, whose job is to focus on developing home grown teams.
In the spring, TSA’s travel teams consist of girls and boys from 10 to 18. The Cyclones started travel in September of 2009, closing with a remarkable spring season, outplaying teams from top soccer clubs such as Albertson, Massapequa and two teams from Rockville Centre. They finished the season taking second place and successfully promoted to Division 2.
The Tigers had a big turnaround year, leaded the division with the least goals against. Taking second, they moved up two divisions to division 5.
Last season, winning their division and promoted to division 6, the Tornados were put to the challenge and have successfully showed they can compete also getting promoted to division 5.
The Knights finished their season in forth place, defeating their rival team, Oceanside, twice.
After a soccer career of 12 years, the Lady Gators ended their campaign in Division 2 finishing up in forth place. Throughout their career, the Lady Gators accumulated multiple Long Island Division and Waldbaums Cup championships and appearing twice at the state finals.
