Malverne High School named 'Blue Star' again

Posted

For the third consecutive year, Malverne High School has been named a “Blue Star” school by the W!SE organization, which runs the financial literacy program in which the school participates.

This award is given to schools in which 75 percent or more of the students in the financial literacy program have proven to be financially literate via the financial literacy exam. The “Blue Star” school banner, which will go in the school’s main lobby, will be presented to the district during the MoneyPower Conference in November.

Teachers Robin Calcagno, Kerry Caputo, Nick Moreno and Mike Whalen at Malverne High School are proud to have contributed to this success during the 2009-2010 school year.
