The Nassau County mammography testing program is set to stop off at Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg's district office in September.
The program will be at Mr. Denenberg's office from 8:30 A.M. to 2:15 P.M. on the following dates: Monday, September 11; Tuesday, September 12; and Wednesday, September 13.
Mammograms will be provided free of charge to women over 40 and to those who are uninsured. All medical insurance will be accepted, without requiring a co-payment. State-of-the-art equipment is used and operated by the Nassau County Medical Center's trained staff.
Mr. Denenberg's district office is located at 2818 Merrick Road in Bellmore (east of Bellmore Avenue, next to the Dunkin' Donuts). Appointments for mammograms can be made by calling Legislator Denenberg's Mineola Office at (516) 571-6216 or his district office at (516) 409-6623.
