Mayor Murray hospitalized; Rockville Centre board meeting postponed

After Monday night’s scheduled village Board of Trustees meeting was cancelled earlier in the day, the Herald learned that it was due to Mayor Fran Murray’s hospitalization on Sunday. Late Monday, a village spokesman released the following statement:
“Mayor Fran Murray is currently in Mercy Medical Center undergoing precautionary testing after a presumed asthma attack over the weekend. As a result, the Monday, March 5 Board of Trustees meeting has been postponed to a later date.”
