Brian Fern
Fern, owner Pearsall’s Station and P-12. He Brian Fern bought the Lynbrook location of Long Island mini chain BK Sweeney’s in 1999 and turned it into a local destination beloved for its great food, convivial setting and his hands-on management style. When a tragic fire hit the restaurant the week before Christmas, 2005, BK Sweeney’s closed its doors for good — but ten months later, Brian opened the spot with a fresh new identity. Pearsall’s Station, renamed for the family that was the town’s original namesake, was born from Brian’s determination and the unwavering support from patrons, local businesses and his staff alike. The restaurant’s longstanding annual golf outing has, for the past three years, raised funds for From Our Family to Yours, a charity established by the family of Brian Ciampi, the much‐loved Pearsall’s Station bartender and Lynbrook native who lost his fight with colon cancer in 2013.
