Ambulance Corps
The Corps will host a Valentines Day fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 12 from 3 to 9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 13 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 14 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Roses and carnations will be sold. Roses are $25 a dozen and up and carnations are $15 a dozen. The pick-up station will be Malverne train station on Hempstead Avenue. Classic Movie Night
The Malverne Historical and Preservation Society will host a Classic Movie Night on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. The movie Dinner at Eight starring Marie Dressler and John Barrymore will be shown.
Charity event
Profusion will host its second annual charity event on March 26 at the Westbury Manor in Jericho from 6 to 10 p.m. This event will include a reception, dancing, silent memorabilia auction, Chinese auctions and more. Alex Jacobson, president of the Lakewood Stables in West Hempstead, is one of this years honorees. Proceeds will benefit The Long Island Breakfast Club and The Center for Hope at Schneider Childrens Hospital. Tickets are $75 per person.
