The Mothers of Malverne or MOM meets on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. This meeting will be the organization's Annual Vendor Night where various vendors will be present for mothers to get a jump start on their holiday shopping. Pre-kindergarten registration for the a.m. or p.m. session in the Elmont School District is under way. The sessions run two and a half hours each day from Monday to Friday. The Franklin Square Elementary School District will continue its kindergarten registration for students entering kindergarten in September 2009 through December.
