The Five Towns Community Chest's 46th annual Pro Am Golf - Practice Round and Auction Dinner will be held on Thursday, July 11. The Pro Am Golf Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, July 14, at the Seawane Country Club. Besides the Seawane Club, the Inwood Club, Lawrence Golf Club, and Woodmere Club will be participating. Each club will be able to make their own teams of three amateurs, with the golf professional for each team being drawn from a pool. Participants must have a maximum handicap of 26 and have a USGA number and index to substantiate the same. There are limited playing opportunities for non-participating club members and one may sign up to play in the tournament as a three man team or as an individual. Billed as a "Night of Laughter", the evening will feature a comedy cabaret as part of the festivities.
