Merrick couples renew their vows at town hall

Al and Pearl Gordon of Merrick renewed their vows after 61 years of marriage on Monday.

Couples of all ages gathered at Town of Hempstead Hall on Valentine’s Day to celebrate their love, either by getting married or renewing their wedding vows.

Joining in on the festivities were Merrick couple Bill and Sharon Korbel, who renewed their vows after 38 years of marriage, and Al and Pearl Gordon, also of Merrick, who renewed their vows after 61 years of marriage.
