Molloy College has announced additions to its board of trustees for the 2013-2014 school year.

Jeffrey H. Greenfield, a managing partner with NGL Group in Lynbrook, has served as president of the Council of Insurance Brokers of Greater New York, and is a past president of the Professional Insurance Agents of New York State, Inc. He currently serves as chairman of the Nassau County Planning Commission and on the LIPA Board of Trustees. Greenfield previously served on the Molloy Board of Trustees from 2000 to 2012.

“I’m delighted to be back on the board, working for the institution,” said Greenfield. “The school’s doing good things, and I’m delighted to continue to be a part of it.”

John P. McEntee, Esq., a partner at Farrell, Fritz, P.C., practices commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels and represents corporations, partnerships and individuals in a broad variety of business disputes. He has previously served as an assistant district attorney in Nassau County and as an assistant deputy attorney general with the New York State Organized Crime Task Force, and was recently elected president of the Nassau County Bar Association.

Sister Mary Pat Neylon, Ed.D., an alumna of Molloy College, was recently elected prioress of the Dominican Sisters of Amityville. She has spent the past 28 years working at Molloy as associate professor of communications and chair of the department of communications and of interdisciplinary studies. She was also the founding director of Molloy’s Faculty Professional Center, and served as director from 1999 to 2013. Sister Neylon has received a number awards during her tenure at Molloy, including the Faculty Recognition Award, the Faculty Council Award and the Distinguished Service Medal.

Kenneth J. Pritchard, P.E., is vice president of Municipal Engineering at Woodbury-based environmental and civil engineering firm D&B Engineers and Architects, PC. Pritchard is currently a class representative of the Alumni Partners Program of the Energeia Partnership at Molloy College. He also serves as secretary for the Long Island section of the American Society of Highway Engineers.

Robert Salvatico is a partner and senior vice president of operations for the Mineola-based Jaral Properties, Inc. and Jaral Management Corporation, which manage family-owned hotel properties and investments. He previously served as a management consultant to the Allegria Hotel in Long Beach. Salvatico, like Pritchard, is a member of the Energeia Partnership at Molloy College, and also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City.

The main duties of the board, according to Molloy’s president, Dr. Drew Bogner, are to approve policies, acquire new resources, and to ensure that the College is achieving its mission and that it has the resources to do so in the both long- and short-term. The board consists of no more than 30 members, with the college president always occupying one of those seats.

“We look for individuals to be fiduciary stewards that come from different industries and diversity, including gender, race, occupation, and religion to help us achieve the mission of the College,” said Bogner. “I look forward to the many contributions these talented individuals will bring to our rich, multi-faceted and expanding academic environment.”
